I moved to Ubuntu because it's a fast, simple operating system with predictable updates. Also, I was tired of big patches and multiple bolt-on security requirements required in the world of Windows. But then when you switch to Ubuntu for eye candy you can't really be depended on to produce a good top ten list. I guess my number one might be not having to restart after updates or perhaps something specific about security but lets face it these are all benefits of using Linux in general. The reasons I chose Ubuntu have more to do with philosophy and their update policies. I have to agree.
