After 10 years of frustrating use of Windows OS including W95,W98,and XP, I have finally installed Ubuntu-Linux 7.10 on my 5 year old HP-Compaq Presario 2100 Laptop. The machine has NEVER worked better!No more wasted time scanning for viruses, adware, spyware,etc. For the life of me, I can't understand why the WHOLE WORLD is not with Linux. Every Windows user" moans and groans" about viruses, ad-ware, spyware, etc. but they STAY with Windows. If you are a masochist continue lining Mr. Gates pockets with your hard-earned ca$h... Me, I'd rather piss it away on beer! :) Just sign me... Linux-Lover Greetings!
