It is a pretty history, but the reality is that there are some problems with compatibility platforms.

The most problems are in complex Office Documents (.doc 2003) edited whit Open Office (problems with formats, structure of pages, diagrams, ...)

Domain integration. This is posible, but no easy for not advanced user.

Assign permissions for user domains in sharing folders is an issue too.

Netbios name of ubuntu machine

Encoding can be a problem. Windows ISO encoding with Ubuntu UTF encodings.

You can need to use dos2unix command in sometime.

Firefox is great! but some pages or if you are a web developer, you need internet explorer.

Evolution is a great suite, but connect with exchange there are some problems of performance, and low funcionality if you compare with outlook.

The drivers of printers sometimes not offerts all funcionality that printer support

etc.

Ubuntu is great and i use Ubuntu, but is not easy and wonderfull.

Great article. I really like Ubuntu, and it makes me feel happy that there is an extension to OpenOffice.org that let's you save to the open Office 2007 file format. Hopefully, someday, OpenOffice will someday have that kind of thing built-in. I prefer to save in OpenDocemt format. But hey!
